character design - young artists will learn how to design an original character, focusing on idea generation, shape language, and storytelling, while also introducing them to the basics of using digital tools on their iPad with Procreate.

Every summer, the Village Artist offers their exciting Summer Art Workshops (for ages 6-teens) and their Teen Art Workshops/Portfolio Preparation Program (ages 13+) for 8-10 weeks. Two sessions (am+pm) are offered each day, Monday through Thursday. Weekly sign up, 8 weeks available.

This summer program is designed for portfolio students and teens who are interested in further pursuing the fine arts. Our experienced artists help your teen develop their art portfolios. Choose one or more areas of concentration to gain valuable experience and develop a depth of work that will enhance their portfolios.

Our studio is the perfect place for children who enjoy the fine arts. Workshops are designed to teach and inspire the experienced young artist as well as the beginner. We offer a variety of workshops in the many areas of art.
